Silver Circles

by William Breslow

After a 4 month break from studio work to focus on other businesses, it was easy to return and use materials left over from a one year ago trip to the metal yard. An excellent opportunity to regain some design sense and welding skills with familiar steel shapes and forms.

Silver Circles is therefore familiar, but also new.

It's larger than most of the other pieces that use these shapes of metal, and it begins to explore different methods and angles for joining them into a new whole.

The piece is installed against the dark cedar painted siding of a Westchester County, NY property and sort of "jumps" off the wall.

It is on loan to a friend and available for sale.
