William Breslow
Bill lives in South Salem, NY with his wife of 25 years, Linda Simon a painter. Both are accomplished amateur photographers.
Bill began working in the ceramic arts in NYC in the 1980’s at the Parson’s School of Design.
After moving to nearby Connecticut in 1990 he began working at the Silvermine Arts School in New Canaan and shifted his focus from ceramics to metal sculpture. Starting with small decorative arts projects (candle sticks, bookends) and then progressing to medium scale (lawn size) steel sculptures and mixed media (glass, marble and wood) furniture.
In recent years his focus has turned to medium and larger scale outdoor sculpture in steel and stainless steel, and powder coated steel pieces.
